Rev. Dr. Jennifer Stewart

As the director of Healing & Transforming Communities, Rev. Dr. Jennifer Stewart co-creates spaces for healing, justice, and transformation across churches, communities, and the systems that shape them. This role allows her to integrate faith, strategy, and innovation to help restore hope and dignity to those often overlooked or oppressed.

“My faith compels me to seek justice not just as a theological ideal, but as a lived reality,” she says. “The church has a sacred responsibility to be a vessel of healing and a prophetic voice against injustice. This role lets me live out that calling.”

Rev. Dr. Stewart holds a PhD and Master of Science in Nursing, a Master of Divinity, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, artistic and creative pursuits, traveling, singing, listening, and dancing. She treasures time with her husband, their three children, and their doodle dog.
