ABHMS intercultural leadership program concludes first year, seeks 2027 applicants

(ABHMS)—Seven emerging leaders from across the United States and Puerto Rico will gather Nov. 5-7 at the Baptist Church of West Chester in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to share how they are applying intercultural leadership principles in their ministries, professions, and communities. The three-day symposium concludes the inaugural year of Young Adults With Emerging Ideas (YAWEI), a community of practice developed by the Intercultural Leadership Institute (ILI) of American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS).

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 08/31/2026)—American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) Center for Continuous Learning (CCL) has been granted Affiliate status with the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), a milestone that recognizes the CCL’s growing role in theological education and positions the center for deeper collaboration with theological schools across North America. ATS member schools approved the action during the association’s 2026 Biennial Meeting.
