A monthly space for courageous conversation and faithful action
Join the Justice Dialogues
ABHMS has gathered faith leaders, engaged Christians, and justice advocates from across the United States and Puerto Rico for monthly conversations rooted in justice, discipleship and shared learning.
Together, we wrestle with hard questions, listen across differences, and seek faithful responses to the challenges shaping our communities.
All are welcome.
A new series: Decolonizing Christianity
The Justice Dialogues launched a new series, “Decolonizing Christianity,” in April 2026.
What stories shaped the faith you inherited?
How has Christianity been formed by culture and power?
What might it mean to reclaim its liberating heart in this moment?
Through honest dialogue and reflective engagement, we explore how Christian faith calls us toward justice, courage, and shared flourishing.
Why it matters
Launched in 2020 amid racial unrest, pandemic disruption and political division, the Justice Dialogues creates space for:
Thoughtful conversation
Spiritual grounding
Mutual accountability
Faithful public witness
As ABHMS Executive Director Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Haggray noted at the inaugural gathering: “If ever there was a time we all need to be aware of the need for allies in justice, the time is now.”
Justice Dialogues equips Christian citizens to work, live and pray together for healing and transformation.
How it works
Justice Dialogues meets monthly online and is open to pastors, chaplains, lay leaders, advocates and all who care about justice.
Past conversations
Topics of past sessions have included:
Creative responses to homelessness and affordable housing
Faith-based approaches to gun violence
Disability inclusion in the workplace
Immigration reform and Christian hospitality
Mental health as a justice issue
Environmental stewardship
Each conversation strengthens our collective commitment to healing and transforming communities.
Be part of the conversation. Be part of the change.
The Justice Dialogues are more than conversations—they are a growing community of people committed to listening deeply, learning together, and living out a faith rooted in justice and shared flourishing. Whether you’re ready to join a live dialogue or begin by exploring past conversations, there is a place for you here.
