ABHMS launches America for Christ Offering 2025

VALLEY FORGE, PA (01/08/2025)—American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) announces America for Christ (AFC) Offering 2025, a fundraising campaign inspired by Ephesians 4:13 [NIV]: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” The AFC Offering is a vital resource that empowers ABHMS to support life-changing ministry programs provided by diverse American Baptists in communities across the United States and Puerto Rico.

“Your generosity enables us to promote the Christian faith, cultivate Christ-centered leaders, and provide crucial care to marginalized communities,” said Dr. Jeffrey Haggray, ABHMS’ executive director. He further stressed the significance of supporting AFC at a time when the country’s unity is being tested. Extending forgiveness to one another during periods of deep division and uncertainty “opens our hearts to healing and creates the foundation for rebuilding our communities in ways that reflect God’s grace and mercy.”

ABHMS’ website currently features a variety of downloadable electronic resources suitable for reproduction regarding AFC 2025. Further, over the next few weeks, American Baptist churches will be receiving packets of printed materials intended to support their AFC campaigns.

The generosity of AFC donors supports ABHMS’ missional priorities of connecting partners, cultivating leaders, and equipping disciples who are making a transformational difference in the lives of so many individuals and families. Consider giving your support with an online donation to AFC 2025 today.

For additional information or to obtain physical copies of some promotional materials during the AFC 2025 campaign season, contact Kim Wilkins in ABHMS’ Office of Development at kim.wilkins@abhms.org or 610-768-2413.

ABHMS does not retain any funds generated by the AFC Offering to offset operational or administrative expenses.

Kristine Neil

Fractional Web Partner

I'm Kristine Neil - a communications strategist who has spent 20+ years designing websites, first running a full-scale design and marketing agency, and now leading my own studio. I've been the creative director managing the work, the coder quietly fixing what others couldn't, and the strategist in the room asking why before how. Somewhere between the MBA and the other degrees, I decided web design was just one tool in a much bigger toolbox - the real work is figuring out what you're trying to say, who needs to hear it, and what's getting in the way. A website is just where all of that comes to life.

I mostly build on Squarespace, and after years deep in the platform I know how far it can go and when to push past its limits. These days, I'm especially drawn to working as a fractional partner - getting to know an organization over time and helping with whatever moves them forward, whether that's a full redesign, an ongoing hand with content and strategy, or just being the person who knows their site best. I write here about AI, UX, eCommerce, web strategy, and making the complex feel a little more human.
