American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) publishes a number of resources that share the good news as well as the challenges of our ministry, along with offering support and inspiration to congregations and individuals seeking to live out Christian faith. Please note—some of these publications are free; there is a subscription fee for others.

American Baptist Home Mission Societies Annual Report  — This yearly publication provides a year-long snapshot of the impact of our ministries as well as income and expense statements.

The Christian Citizen — This magazine and weekly e-newsletter focuses on justice issues, offering suggestions and opportunities for personal witness and action.

Discipleship and Christian Education Guide — A print copy is sent to ABCUSA churches and a PDF can be downloaded here. Includes stories, litanies, devotionals, a planning calendar and other important resources to aid your church’s disciple-making ministries.
