An opportunity to serve in an environment where colleagues are “striving for personal and spiritual growth” attracted Phil Cook to his role as controller for American Baptist Home Mission Societies. He sees his position as being about more than finance. “It is Kingdom building, spreading the gospel, growing and nurturing young Christian leaders, and helping those in need.”
Outside of work, Cook enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons, and his dog. He is a trustee at his church and roots for Philadelphia sports teams.
Cook is a graduate of Virginia State University, and is completing his master’s degree at West Chester University.
