As director of the Annual Fund and major gifts for American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS), Monique Sadler-Taylor is excited about using her experience to serve ABHMS’ mission to heal and transform the lives of others and further the work of Jesus Christ.
“Throughout my career, I have searched for work that matters,” she says. “I feel like I have found my purpose and a home in ABHMS.”
In her position, she will find herself partnering with the organization’s chief development officer to expand fundraising efforts, identify new streams of revenue and increase ABHMS’ existing donor support.
Most recently she served as director of development and education for the NASPGHAN Foundation. Before that, she was a major gifts officer for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and director of corporate development for the American Diabetes Association. She spent 17 years in the cable industry, first as director of Affiliate Relations with BET Networks, then as director of Corporate Partnerships with CTAM.
