ABHMS presents 4 national-recognition ministry awards during Mission Summit

VALLEY FORGE, PA (6/26/19)—American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) presented four 2019 national-recognition ministry awards during American Baptist Churches USA’s Biennial Mission Summit in Virginia Beach. While two were presented at the ABHMS-sponsored Friday evening worship, two others were presented during ABHMS’ luncheon on Saturday.

ABHMS celebrates ministries of two retiring long-term personnel

VALLEY FORGE, PA (3/6/19)—American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) and its publishing ministry, Judson Press, celebrate the ministry of two employees who are retiring after years of dedicated service. Victoria Goff, national coordinator of Volunteer-mobilization and Disaster-relief Ministries, will retire at the end of April. Marcia Jessen, Judson Press’ curriculum editor, will retire at June’s end.
