Judson Press releases new interview series with authors of ‘Health, Holiness & Wholeness for Ministry Leaders’

Gutiérrez and Ross D. Peterson, authors of the recently released title “Health, Holiness & Wholeness for Ministry Leaders.” The authors spoke to Jennifer Sanborn, program director for ABHMS’ In Support of Excellence program for ordained clergy, about key messages in the book.

About the Authors

John R. Matthews has served in many capacities over the years, including pastor, minister of education, chaplain resident, instructor of philosophy and logic, and adjunct faculty for a field practicum program. Prior to retirement, he served for many years as associate director of Midwest Ministry Development Service, Columbus, Ohio. He has received a number of professional certifications and was appointed by the governor of Ohio to serve on the state’s first Counselor and Social Worker Licensing Board.

Kristina R. Gutiérrez, D.Min., is an ordained minister in American Baptist Churches USA. She is also an endorsed pastoral counselor and chaplain. Currently she serves as a counselor at Midwest Ministry Development Service.

Ross D. Peterson, D.Min., served as executive director of Midwest Ministry Development Service and Southwest Ministry Development Service. An ordained pastoral counselor and clinical professional counselor with more than 23 years of experience in several church-related settings, he has also taught in Chicago-area seminaries.
