Book introduces readers to church on San Diego-Tijuana Border

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 2/15/22)—“Church at the Wall: Stories of Hope Along the San Diego-Tijuana Border” tells the powerful story of Border Church, where people meet at the border wall on both sides for communion and worship.  Situated on the western edge of the border, it overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Readers will get to know this remarkable international church community—and its distinctive expressions of theology, justice, righteousness and love—through the eyes of active participants.

Highlighting the ministry and mission of one of various cross-border churches in the world, the book shares the Border Church’s most deeply held values through the stories of its people. Aspiring to humanize the borderlands and its people in a way that spurs hearts to pray for and act with marginalized persons and groups, the book presents an innovative cross-cultural model of ministry that serves as an example for Christian unity.
