ABHMS’ CeCaLi announces summer and fall workshops
VALLEY FORGE, PA (6/15/21)—CeCaLi XXI (Centro de Capacitación para Líderes del siglo XXI), a program of American Baptist Home Mission Societies’ Latino Ministries office, introduces its Church Leadership Development summer and fall virtual workshops to be presented in ABHMS’ new Center for Continuous Learning.
Delivered completely in Spanish, CeCaLi is designed to equip Latino pastors and leaders from the United States and Puerto Rico. Every workshop is tailored according to the reality of participants in their communities. Join us as we explore emerging issues in ministry, congregational life and pastoral practice and offer practical tools, resources and coaching to fuel your ministry.
“Several years of experience working with the Latin church, interacting with its leaders and reading relevant literature have made me understand that our pastors and leaders have specific needs,” says the Rev. Salvador Orellana, director of ABHMS’ Latino Ministries.
“CeCaLi addresses those needs by offering a Spanish-language program that will help them acquire theological and practical tools for ministry.”
CeCaLi is offering a virtual event comprised of four two-hour sessions 1-3 p.m. ET July 10, Aug. 14, Oct. 16 and Nov. 20. While this program is intended to be four sessions, participants need not attend all sessions.
