ABHMS’ fall development campaign focuses on chaplains
VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 10/29/21)—During these difficult times characterized by hate crimes, political polarization, natural disasters and COVID-19, American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) is sharing God’s love with marginalized individuals, families and communities through its fall development campaign aimed at aiding chaplains throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Funds for chaplains will support endless possibilities, including:
- Training, professional development and certification;
- Monthly stipends;
- New, innovative outreach programs, including meals;
- Technology for live streaming capabilities; and
- Purchase of medical supplies.
The Bible says, “For no word from God will ever fail” (Luke 1:37, NIV). Faith may not make things easy, but it does make them possible. It makes possible practical, on-the-ground help. And that’s why your donation will make a huge difference in people’s lives.
Consider making a donation of $25 or more to help us reach our goal of $75,000 for chaplains. One hundred percent of the dollars raised will be applied to underserved communities across the United States and Puerto Rico.
Send a check to the Office of Development, American Baptist Home Mission Societies, 1075 First Ave., King of Prussia, PA 19406. Or make your donation on the ABHMS website at https://abhms.org/support-chaplains.
