  • Dozens Attend ABHMS Intercultural Ministries Forum

    VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 05/12/2023)—As part of its crucial mission to strengthen American Baptist Home Mission Societies’ (ABHMS) connection with Baptist ministries across cultures, the organization’s Intercultural Ministries group hosted The Forum: An ABHMS Intercultural and Ethnic Ministries Exchange April 28-30 in King of Prussia, Pa. More than 50 representatives of different Latino, Asian, Native American and Haitian ministries, as well as those living out their faith in various multicultural settings, attended the event.

  • ABHMS Calls National Coordinator for Justice and Advocacy

    VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 05/10/2023)—American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) is pleased to announce that the Rev. Kerwin Webb answered the call to join ABHMS’ Healing & Transforming Communities team as national coordinator for justice and advocacy. His responsibilities in this crucial role include cultivating and strengthening networks of justice advocates who demonstrate faith in action, serve as public witnesses, and advance the healing and transforming of communities in the United States and Puerto Rico.

  • Connecting with Mission Partners in Puerto Rico • June 21-22 • On-site in Puerto Rico

    ABHMS invites you to serve in Puerto Rico during two days of mission experiences on June 21 and 22, 2023. Work projects will be determined closer to June and will likely include packing health kits for homeless persons, lawn maintenance, cleaning, minor repairs, construction and painting. There is also the possibility of visiting Corporacion Milagros de Amor (CorMA) an ABHMS Community Outreach Ministry partner.
