Volunteer with us
Volunteer Mobilization Ministries facilitates individual volunteer missionary appointments, summer service opportunities, group mission experiences, specialized service projects and disaster response.
American Baptists have traditionally been people of action, giving freely of their valuable time and talents to help survivors of tragedy throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Striking recent examples include volunteer efforts in response to hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the U.S. Gulf Coast, where American Baptists and partners have logged countless hours of hands-on recovery work.
For more information about volunteering, contact Victoria Goff at [email protected] or 610-768-2449.
Generous gifts make our ministry possible. There are several ways you can support the work we do:
- The America for Christ Offering is an annual campaign that runs from January through March. Gifts to this offering are shared among American Baptist Home Mission Societies and American Baptist regions around the country. Give through your church or contact the Rev. Dr. Eddie Cruz to make an individual contribution.
- Make a legacy gift through the American Baptist Foundation, which supports stewardship of individuals, churches and organizations by providing gift planning, gift management and endowment-fund management services.
- Gifts in support of individual ministries are an important way to assure that churches have resources to minister to ex-offenders, that volunteers have the support they need so they can concentrate on their mission, and that churches have access to resources and training that help them grow strong. Contact the Rev. Dr. Eddie Cruz to discover the many ministries making a difference in the world that you can help strengthen with your financial gifts.
