Chantá Barrett

As digital content creator, Dr. Chantá Barrett contributes to the crafting of ABHMS’ narrative through both visual and written storytelling, and she is committed to raising awareness of the ABHMS brand. “People need to know who we are and what we do,” she says. She believes that organizations that preach the message of the Gospel must be clear and concise in their mission. At ABHMS, Chantá fulfills her ministry by using the various gifts, talents and skills that she has acquired over the years.

In her previous roles, Chantá served in leadership within various ministries in the church.  She was the servant leader for the Integrated Arts and Music Ministry at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church and taught Bible study for middle and high schoolers. She also led the church’s Care Givers Ministry.

Chantá has an extensive educational background in the field of ministry. She earned a Doctor of Ministry with a focus on the Black church from United Lutheran Seminary Philadelphia, as well as a Master of Divinity with an emphasis on leadership and a diploma in biblical theological studies, both from Palmer Theological Seminary.

Chantá enjoys analyzing TV shows and movies, especially with an eye for cinematic quality and creative and realistic storylines. This fuels her own creative endeavors.
